Pandemic’s mental health boost for special needs children

The mental health of pupils with additional needs actually improved during the pandemic, in stark contrast to the experience of other young people.

A study has found that while young people’s wellbeing has deteriorated rapidly overall since the pandemic, it has unexpectedly improved significantly for thousands of students with special needs.
